Anyone remember this series? It was a big deal back in the early 2010’s. Like a cancelled show from the 80’s, you kind of had to be at that perfect age to have much nostalgia for the franchise. Young enough for experiencing the game and comics to make an solid impression on a growing mind, but old enough to not have missed the whole thing. (Kids today for instance)

I got into the series at… I think update 32? Crack is Wack? Yeah, fun times.

I’ve always like Klak’s proportions. Made this sketch in like 5 minutes with a (blank) in (current year) quote. Y’know.

I then figured, “Hmm, I got some lineart… Why not try my hand at coloring?” So that’s what I did.

At first I didn’t even want to add a background, but after putting that blue shading on a clipping mask, it seemed like the perfect idea.

I normally find coloring a piece the most boring part of an image (thus I’d rush through it to get it over with), but here I kind of just kept thinking of things to add. Now, I think I’m quite pleased with the results.

Honestly, I’m quite sad thinking back on this series. Makes me feel like an era’s gone by, even though it only lasted a few years. The original app is still on the app store, but the comics are no longer around, the Facebook version was shut down, and the weeks of sitting around eagerly anticipating the next update are long gone.

It looks a whole lot better with coloring! I thought you said you didn’t want to upload art here anymore?

Nah, that post just meant I was looking for a place to upload where certain content wouldn’t show up on google images.

Also I wanted another site as backup should this one go down. I’m still going to be uploading here.
