how long to you take to finish drawing?

It usually takes me a day for a simple picture, and two for a complex one. If I leave a background off yours, I could classify your request as simple.
But to be honest, I haven’t started yours. I have two large pictures currently in progress, as well as a job I go to on Saturdays.
Point is, you’re on the list, but the list is quite long, and I still have a regular schedule to deal with. I can’t guarantee a set time when it’ll be finished, but I can let you know when I begin.

Okay, right off the bat, you’re gonna need to use some kind of metronome. The parts are not synced up very well at all. I can understand you struggling with Parlsona, since her parts have a tricky rhythm, so I’d recommend first worrying about the Celestials, add a metronome track for the editing portion, and repeatedly listen to it. Continue asking yourself, “Does this sound right?”
As for a rating, well… I guess if I had to be honest, I’d probably give it a 4/10. Sorry, but it needs work. I can respect the ambition, and I did see effort put into the Loodvigg pitch shifts, but that doesn’t seem to add anything to the song. Right now, it sounds too much like someone just took a few monster audio files and tossed them into a audio editing software without much thought.

Hey, so, I don’t mind Object Show Nsfw, per say, and it’s totally fine for you to draw it. However, many (if not all) of your images appear in the top results of a google image search of the characters, even with SafeSearch on. The primary audience of BFB is made up of children, some younger than 10. I’d really appreciate it if you re-titled your pictures as B/FB or B/F/B or BF/B, or some other combination of slashes or asterisks that prevents the image from appearing with the keywords ‘BFB’. Of course you’re still allowed to draw whatever you like and I don’t want to police that, but I, as an artist that sometimes posts NSFW work, know that it’s my responsibility to keep it away from the eyes of children.

I took a look and I think you’ve got some good work there. Coloration is nice and you have a good eye for detail.
One thing I’ll say is that some of your proportions look a bit off. What this signifies to me is a lack of proper structuring.
I’m not sure what your design process is, but one thing that helped me is to sketch things out first, start with circles and blocks, like this.
See, when I look at that first sketch, I think on what I could do to improve things. First off, the leaves are too large, and the pose is a bit uninteresting. Thus I made this.
This pose shows a clearer line of action, (which I believe is an arty term for this kind of thing) making it more interesting to look at (I think). Then I figured, I’d come this far, why not just make the avatar?
So that’s what I did. Bada bing bada boom.

Ah yes its very nice! I use Ibis paint x to make my art, I always look up and down to copy a plants position or color if you know what I mean. And for the contract, I am not really in for positions much, that seems a little hard for me. Most of my avatars have the plants in the correct positions and I think it still looks decent but putting them in a different position could look more appealing and mandatory but my art is only viewed on discord anyway so why should I put so much effort, lmao also I just use my finger and a tablet to make the avatars. The tools for Ibis paint x just seem more simpler to use. Also thanks for your comeback and saying my art was good : )

Heh, It’s easy to not put in much effort, but it takes effort to put in much effort. (I know. Inspiring) But hey, I get it. There’s no real need to improve. If it works it works, right? But there’s something extremely satisfying about looking back and seeing how far you’ve come. I’ll just leave some tips here, and you can do with them what you will. No need to follow through with any of it.
Improvement won’t come unless you:
A. look at your art with a critical lens, find ways to improve your work
B. learn new techniques to push your artistic skillset,
C. get more resources: new programs or hardware (most expensive way to improve, but after getting my first drawing tablet, I’ve never been able to go back to using a mouse)

Hey, heron. It’s been a while since I’ve been on your site. A recent paheal palooza has encouraged me to visit this site for another time. There’s this kid who I think goes by Norbit here, but CadeloFanBlock on paheal. When I tried to ask them about whether their art was their attempt to mimic you, they and a buncha other people decided to lash out on me. So I’m here to ask – **did you give Cadelo/Norbit permission to take ideas from you?** (tl;dr factor) They keep phrasing it as “stealing” your ideas so I’m kinda skeptical of them.
I mean, I’m not entirely sure what “stealing my ideas” could mean… it’s not like I own any bfdi characters or anything.
If it’s just some fanart with scenarios similar to ones I’ve made, then it should be fine. I’d consider that a kind of inspiration or something. Otherwise, I’m not sure what’s happening there.

As far as I can remember, he was doing the same watermark and dialogue thing as you, and then the art was just assets edited with weird faces and some random background. It was mainly the watermark thing that made it apparent, though.
I asked him, and I quote, “Is this an attempt at, per se, KH’s style? Because if you’re trying to replicate his art style for rep, you’re really bad at it. I’ve known about him for a long while, so you can’t make any excuses.” I may have been a bit harsh on the wording, but that was assuming he was quite literally copying you.
I’ve looked into things and I really… don’t think there’s anything nefarious happening.
It looks to me like a case of mere inspiration. Trying to pin someone over a watermark is just silly. Unless it’s a copy (which it isn’t) calling that out seems like a waste of time. Besides, copying a style isn’t a crime. I’ve attempted to recreate styles (fanart purposes) and honestly I’m still in the process of finding mine. And to wrap up, CD could literally be tracing my work, and I wouldn’t care. It’s anthro objects with dicks and vaginas. I’m not about to make a fuss over sentient objects fucking. If using me as inspiration helps them become a better artist, then who cares, right?

Finished the regular bloons, so now I’m moving on to the blimps.
I think I’ll stop at the BAD, the bosses are a shoe in for Paragon stuff, but they haven’t all been released yet.

Also, just kinda cause I’m new here, are there any questions or requests you’d rather not hear? Just don’t wanna upset anyone.
Only a few. I got asked questions like “why cropped?” or “why no nsfw” so many times I’ve get irritated whenever I see them. I’ve answered that one too many times and I’m confident people could figure it out by digging a bit.
Also I don’t get bothered by requests unless they get spammed. Not sure if you know, but there was this annoying wretch who went by Alex who spammed the same request over and over.
Oh yeah, try not to spam either. WordPress lets me filter out spam, but still, I try not to censor comments. But spam is something I don’t tolerate.
Most are in progress, somewhere between sketch phase and completion. Sketches are pretty easy, it’s the rest that takes up all the time.

Thought up another question for whenever your able to see it. Who’s your fav hero in bloons? There’s a ton of great designs and I was interested to hear who you like most.
I use Ben most, but I think my favorite’s Gwen. Wish I could target her cocktail like Obyn can with trees.
Gwen is awesome. Her design is just lovely. Churchill is my guy but I definitely relate to using Ben most.

Hey again KH. I thought of a couple more possible ideas yesterday but I realized I don’t know if you have any limit of requests you’ll take from one person. I don’t want you to feel like im taking advantage of your generosity or anything. Would you be interested in hearing them or do you think I’ve given enough requests?
You can request as many as you like. If I don’t feel like doing them at the moment, I just won’t. But it doesn’t hurt to have some reqs in the bank.

Hey KH. Out of curiosity, how do you feel about Sauda. I personally adore her but that’s in no small part due to her super cool/cute design and her filling a very similar role to the tack shooter which is like my second favorite tower. She’s my personal favorite of the female monkey’s.
She’s fine. She’s plenty strong and makes early game a snap. Part of me wants to draw her, but I also don’t really know what I’d do with her.
I struggle to nail down a personality with her, personally.
Thats fair, I personally see her as being kinda cocky and a little overzealous but I get that. I think that her doming a few of the lower tier bloons makes sense to me with how strong she is early game but that’s just my opinion.
I had another question for you if you’d be ok with answering. Is there anything you’ve ever wanted to draw that you haven’t been able to for one reason or another?
Sort of. I have concepts in my sketchbooks of things I’d like to make. Games, animated stuff, but of course I lack skill and time. I always told myself I’d get to them later. And to be honest, I probably won’t have time moving forward until I’m done with classes.
Thats all really fair. I can definitely relate to time being a problem. I really hope your summer treats you well and I hope your able to do some stuff you’ve been looking forward too.

EDIT: Side note, I can’t find clean sprite sheets (or… any sprite sheets really) so I had to essentially recreate them) making this process twice as tough as it needs to be.
