EDIT: Huh… Yeah, I don’t think I’d make a joke like this now. Tastes change and so does humor. I think I’ll leave it up. (I once wiped a computer of all my past work when I got embarrassed about it and I regretted it later)

I mean, I think there’s more going on than that. The whole Birdo issue seems too complex to pin down like that.
This isn’t exactly a supported claim, but I like to imagine Birdo being NoA’s and Nintendo (of Japan?)’s transgender child, where both “parents” are constantly pushing opposing views to the public, locking Birdo in a state of constant discomfort.
It’s not exactly confirmed, but it’s provides funny mental image for me.
